Reviews for 33 Amazing Women
From Amazon (five star average!)
Got this for my niece who is currently deployed with the Army. Not just awesome artwork but humor AND actual information; the author does a great job of portraying the historical contributions of women as well as providing great conversation and relaxation…great purchase!
Great gift for all the fabulous women in your life. It has really nice images and blank pages in between so you can color without worrying about it bleeding through to the next page. Bridget provides information on all the women she chose. Her drawings are unique and fun.
I bought one for myself and then bought more for my nieces and important women in my life. The illustrations are fantastic and the content is educational, witty, and fun! I use markers and appreciate the page layout that minimizes bleed-through. Highly recommended.
This is such an intelligent, charming, and beautifully drawn coloring book! I love that the author has taken coloring books to the next level by providing content that is as strong as the art. I look forward to many hours of coloring and thinking about the 33 Amazing Women that Bridget has included. First rate!
Reviews for Animals
If you’re struggling with the Monday blues or just have some built up stress, “Doc MacDoodle’s Color Therapy for Grown-Ups: Animals” by Bridget Finnegan is perfect for you! This adult coloring book is a lot of fun and really does help to relax and take your mind off the worries of the world. The goofy and fun animals on each page make you smile and coloring them funky colors makes them even better. The fact that each doodle has a blank back is a plus! You can rip them out and hang them up on the wall or fridge to enjoy your masterpieces even more.
The best coloring utensil would have to be color pencils or gel pens. They have a finer point for some of the more detailed pieces. Markers and crayons were okay for the simpler doodles but found them to be a little too large for the more detailed doodles. I personally enjoyed coloring the smaller peacock in the book. It had a lot of small details to make it pop and each feather had a different design on it. The end product turned out to be a beautiful pink peacock with loads of different vibrant colored feathers that made it come to life on the page.
It definitely helped me relax after a long rainy day at work. My mind was more at ease once I was done which helped me fall asleep faster since I wasn’t worrying about everything I had to do the next day. I cannot wait to color some more funny animals. So if you are in need of a fun and creative way to unwind after a busy or stressful day I definitely suggest you get “Doc MacDoodle’s Color Therapy for Grown-Ups: Animals” by Bridget Finnegan and color your worries away.

I love, love this charming, whimsical coloring book. Doc MacDoodle’s Animals offers hours of diversion. Bridget Finnegan is an excellent designer, and her drawings are so much fun to color. There’s something here for everyone. I’m looking forward to her next offering!
I love the fun, whimsical animals on each page! Good quality white paper that allows my colored pencils to blend AND shows the true colors. When I pick lime green, that’s what I want to see!
There’s a good balance of single pictures and double page spreads. The art does go into the seam, but the book comes apart easily — thank you for staples instead of glue! — and the pictures go together without losing any of the detail.
The best thing about this book is that several of the pictures made me laugh out loud when I saw them. That’s stress relief right there!

Love this coloring book! There is a subtle humor within the images that is great. I also like the fact that the coloring spaces are not too small like you see in so many other coloring books. Awesome sausage.

This is a great coloring book. The paper used in this book are of a heavy weight and smartly there are not pictures back to back so if you are using markers and they bleed through the page you haven’t lost another picture. This book that is part of the adult coloring book craze is a book of fun and whimsy. Unlike other books I have purchased this one will make you fill like a kid again with its whimsy in every page.

I love this coloring book because it stands apart from the rest; each spread is unexpected and full of humor and creativity. Bridget Finnegan clearly thought extensively about the customer experience, both aesthetically and practically. The binding allows the book to lie flat while coloring, and the paper weight and blank pages between spreads will please those who choose to use markers.
This book is a gem. Can’t wait to see what she does next! And what antics the Doc will get up to…
